Sodium Coco Sulfate – Responsibly sourced 100% plant-based and readily (greater than or equal to 90% in 24 hours) biodegradable. An anionic detergent naturally derived from coconut oil alcohols including lauryl which is one of the mildest. Able to deliver plenty of “wetting” (lowers the surface tension of water) and a rich lather that helps remove grease and oil residues from human skin without causing excessive drying and de-fatting.

Cocobetaine – Derived from responsibly sourced coconut oil and readily biodegradable. An amphoteric detergent that is very mild and helps reduce any irritancy from other detergents. It helps “condition” hard water in order to make it more effective at removing dirt from the skin. Its anti-static and conditioning properties leave clean skin feeling soft and moistened without leaving any objectionable feel to the skin.

Phenoxyethanol – Helps stabilize the formula to keep the product fresh and consistent even after the container is opened and exposed to environmental conditions.

Natural fragrances (essential oils) can contribute many qualities to a hand cleansing product. Of course the primary goal of a natural fragrance is a pleasing aroma but essential oils can also help with dry skin, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Unique qualities come from different oils. Lavender promotes calmness and relaxation with its anti-anxiety properties. Citrus is a mood lifter and helps reduce stress. Eucalyptus can provide cooling and soothing to the skin along with exhilaration.
